Gellio is a music player for people who run their own Jellyfin server. It is built in SwiftUI with Apple frameworks only, and it takes its cues from Apple Music so it feels familiar from the first tap.
Home picks music for you from your own listening history, which never leaves the phone.
What it does
- Your own server
- Point it at your Jellyfin server and your playlists, artists, albums, songs and favorites are all there.
- Quick Connect
- Approve a code from another Jellyfin device instead of typing a password on your phone.
- Downloads
- Save songs or whole albums for planes and basements. Downloads are grouped by album.
- Now Playing
- Full screen and tinted from the album art, with volume, AirPlay and a sleep timer on the same screen.
- Lyrics
- Synced lyrics follow the song, and tapping a line jumps there. Your server needs to have them.
- Playing Next
- See what's coming up, reorder it, and add songs with Play Next or Play Last from anywhere.
- Lock Screen
- Play, skip and favorite from the Lock Screen and Control Center.
- No data collected
- No accounts with us, no analytics, no ads. Gellio only talks to your server.
